Day 4 NYFW Dressed by Effie's Boutique

Everyone needs a power jumpsuit in their closet like this one! Lets just say it's really fun to be a girl (well, sometimes?) Jumpsuits will be everywhere this season. I mean, they are everything. Who doesn't love the union of pants and a shirt. If you do not have a jumpsuit in your wardrobe lets fix that problem now!!! This one is perfect for running around NYFW and made me feel like the ultimate girl-boss. Not to mention, its office - approved I believe its perfect for the working women and can take you from work to play after 5! All my girls who want to wear an adult onesie to work please stand up. If you want to make a bold statement anywhere you go, get yourself this awesome Fifth Label jumpsuit from Effie’s. At this point in NYFW, I was ready to edge it up and strut around the city like I owned it. The secret to the jumpsuit is that it’s so easy to throw on with a great pair of heels and pairing it with your own-it attitude! It’s chic and sexy without being too revealing. I’m so happy Effie’s was able to tailor this to my body, right down to the perfect hem for my petite self. You can wear this jumpsuit just about anywhere… to work, when you're Sunday brunching with your girlfriends, a dinner date, or even NYFW! Believe me when I say that a power jumpsuit is the easiest statement piece to turn heads!
......
Notes: (1.) You may want to wear a blazer with your jumpsuit depending on what your office environment is like. If your office is more formal you will def need a blazer. I am wearing my go to Steve Madden's. This shoe can easily be swapped out for a classic pump or flat. As for color I would do tan, nude, or black!

Game Day while at NYFW + Tiny's NYC

It’s Game Day y’all! Who’s ready to watch some Alabama football? Looking back to NYFW, I was so sad I couldn’t be there for Bama’s home opener against Fresno State, but I wouldn’t change my Fashion Week experience one bit! If y’all know me, y’all know I LOVE a good brunch spot! On Day 3 of NYFW I had the pleasure of having brunch at an amazing spot in Tribeca called Tiny’s. (How fitting is the name for LoweCo Petite?!) The whole vibe of the restaurant was so cozy and edgy, not to mention the AMAZING food and mimosas we had. When I was getting dressed for brunch that morning, I wanted to dress comfty and edgy, and also rep the Crimson Tide (it was game day and y’all know I gave myself a break to watch my boys play). I paired my go-to denim shorts and this amazingly comfortable maroon velvet top that was gifted to me by the Golden Hanger (which I tagged an amazing look-alike). This outfit paired perfectly with Tiny’s aesthetic!

New York Fashion Week Day 3

I told y'all I was going to put two outfits in one post!! Ha-ha. Thank you so much to all of my followers who messaged me and said they would love a "two for one" post for today! I couldn't be a fashion blogger without each and everyone of y'all. Back to the outfits... I loved the way these two outfits came out! I seriously can’t contain myself! I’m so happy I was able to wear this amazing Blank NYC skirt from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and to top it off I was able to pair it with my favorite go-to booties and this lace top I picked up from JCPenny. This skirt is actually amazing; it truly makes me feel like its fall, I love it! Look at the color... you can wear it with almost anything, its so transitional! Not to mention the price point is amazing! A skirt like this is very easy to wear for casual wear in the fall! Depending on what your dress code is for work you could maybe swing wearing this cutie!! I will be styling this skirt all fall and winter long. Now onto these AMAZING patent leather booties. When I say I saw all the patent leather booties while in the city I mean it! I would have to say patent leather will still be one of fall's top trends, again this year. This trend has the ability to make any piece look a little edgy, especially pairing them with this feminine Blank NYC mini skirt.

For one of my other outfits, my friend Candace M. Read leant me this Zara overlay and its my absolute favorite! I have a lot of love for Zara, and when I saw this I HAD to have it! Zara isn’t on LIKEtoKNOW.it, but I linked an amazing look - alike you can shop from. I had the hardest time figuring out how I wanted to style it because you can dress it up with some tall-girl pumps, or dress it down with some super comfy black flats. Y’all know I had to throw on my heels for this look (#shortgirlprobs), and I wore it for a night out in the city with some of my favorite full-time blogger friends!

Little Black Dress + NYFW Day 2

Happy Thursday, friends! I am officially back in my office right now wishing I was back in NYC. NYFW, is the perfect excuse for dressing up and going out for dinner! If you’re looking for the perfect outfit for NYFW, a wedding, a fancy date night, or fun girls night out, this black is the perfect combination of flirty, classy and sexy. The lace details are delicate, feminine, and beautiful while the mid drift cutout shows off a little skin. The fit and cut are so flattering – I’m such a sucker for anything that cinches at the waist (since I am petite) and gives the illusion of a smaller waist. What really caught my eye about this dress was the lace overlay and the trim derailing; its such a fun twist to the classics LBD. This dress would also be perfect for a fancy date night. I mean, "sexy can I" its the perfect combination of flirty, classy and sexy dress!! I am such a sucker for anything black!! This black dress is perfect for any occasion!! Lastly, in terms of quality, this boy is good... by good I mean its top notch. The fabric is on fleek; definitely perfect to wear for a wedding.
If you're looking for the perfect day-to-night/transitional outfit, this leather pleated skirt and white top paired with these AMAZING Jeffrey Campbell slides should be part of your wardrobe. The pearl embellishments accents this entire outfit so perfectly, I can't even! I can go to work in this outfit AND meet the girls out for dinner and drinks.
P.S. be sure you follow along on my Instagram Stories to see what I am up too!! :) Lastly, how amazing is Hotel Hayden rooftop Bar! I mean, check out this view. Don't forget I am partnering with Hotel Hayden and offering my Lowe Rider (aka my readers) a 15% off discount, based on availability, you can use code FWEEK when you book your next visit to NYC.
