Yesterday, I was
challenged by one of my blogger friends Angelle to share 12 things about Myself that people do
not know about me. I am so competitive and I love a good challenge so naturally I couldn't say no. One of my
favorite things about blogging is the friendship I have made with women all
over the world. Angelle thank you so much for tagging me!! So here goes nothing. I would love to get to know y'all so be sure to leave a comment below and share something about yourself with me. Also, if you
can relate to any of the 12 things I will be sharing let ya girl know!!
1.
We
all know Loco is Spanish for crazy. My Last name is Lowe, and I'm crazy about
my God who picked a perfect family for me to be a part of. I am also crazy
about my name Chelsea Olivia Lowe. The Co in my blog name comes from my
initials, and my nickname is CoCo. The petite comes in because I am 4'11.
Hence, the appropriate name LoweCo Petite for my fashion and lifestyle
blog.
2.
I
started picking out my clothes at the age of two. I’ve always had a love for
fashion - you can ask anyone who’s ever known me!
3.
I
haven’t worked out at all this year… Opps. Summer is right around the corner so
hopefully that will change here in the next few weeks. But, I do love all
things sports. Retired gymnast. Competed 15 years. I started Pole-vaulting my
senior year in High school. Then went on to pursue that in college.
4.
I
am a foodie. I love all things food. If I had to choose Sweet vs. Savory… I
would pick savory all the way. (I would so much rather have sweet potato fries
and sparkling water with a lime, over a donut or anything sweet). If I had to
eat one meal for the rest of my life it would have to be a burrito bowl from
Chipotle. It has my favorite rice (ever), meat, vegetables, cheese; it has a
little bit of everything so I feel it will always satisfy!
5.
Believe
it or not I am definitely a plain Jane. I have had the same exact hair style
for over 12 years.
6.
For
over 10 years, I've been consistently getting my nails done. Once I
started I never stopped!
7.
My
Family means the world to me. My baby brother, Carl O. Lowe Jr., is in his
first year of pharmacy school at Ole Miss. Carl O. Lowe Sr., aka Coach Lowe.
The best father a girl could have. He’s from England and he’s one of the
reasons why I love fashion so much. I have the most beautiful southern belle of
a Momma, Carol Michelle Lowe, born and raise in Mississippi. There is no mother
quite like her. My family is the sweetest gift from God. What can I say It’s a
Lowe Thing.
8.
Growing
up I battled with severe anxiety and depression; I would probably have at least
one panic attack a week while I was in high school. I mean it was so bad I even
got the approval to take my ACT and SAT in a classroom all by myself. But, by
the grace of God I was saved as a Christian three years ago. My life has been
drastically changed and I will never be the same! God healed me from my
depression and anxiety. Can I get an Amen somebody?
9.
It
took me six years to start a fashion blog, so I guess my advice to anyone
starting out would be don't wait to do something you love. Take a leap of faith
and do it! I have secretly been a blogger via Instagram and Tumblr since
2011.
10. I never missed a day of High School
or Middle School growing up. I actually got a college scholarship for having
perfect attendance for seven years straight.
11. I do not really watch TV. But, I am
obsessed with Grey's Anatomy! I secretly feel like a doctor when I watch it.
Just call me Chelsea Lowe, M.D.S.R (Doctor of Medicine via Shonda Rhimes). I
also love; Pretty Little Liars, This is Us, and Gossip Girls.
12. I am crazy about all things that
smell good. So naturally, I use an excessive amount of dryer sheets. I'm
obsessed with the smell of clean laundry! I am also obsessed with Stress Relief
products from Bath & Body Works! (It’s legit the only shower gel, and
body lotion I have on heavy rotation 365 days a year)
