Let's do a little dance - it's
Wednesday!! This dress definitely brought me some mid-week joy! One of the
easiest ways to get more mileage out of dresses is to style them as tops. I
love styling them with my skirts! This strapless lace up a line dress (courtesy of Romwe) is
so fun and versatile. It's great for in-between seasons - like we are currently
having here in Alabama. It's not officially spring but it's hitting 75 degrees
almost everyday.... what is this madness?! I definitely don't hate it. This
dress can be styled high or low, but I opted for a more casual look. Today, I
wore with a denim jacket, but you could style with a black blazer and it would
look equally as cute. My skirt is super old and from the children's section at
Target!! It's a girls size 10/12!! If you are a petite woman and haven't
shopped in the children section at target or any major department store, do
yourself a favor and check it out! Ahh,
y’all It’s officially Black History Month. All month I will be sharing some of
my favorite quotes from black Americans who have made an impact on my life.
This one is from "Jesse"
Owens. He was a Black American track and field athlete and four-time Olympic
gold medalist in the 1936 games.
“We all have dreams. In order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an
awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline and effort.” -
Jesse Owens, world record-setting Olympic Athlete. For those of you who didn’t
know I Pole Vaulted while I was in college! If you grew up doing sports
let me know in the comments below. Hope you all have an amazing Wednesday!
