BlankNYC Bell Bottoms + Quay Sunglasses

Happy Happy Tuesday! I had this post ready to go on Sunday and I never got a chance to post it...oops! I hope you all had such an amazing weekend! My best friend came into town and we had a blast – it had been way too long. Friday night, we stayed up until 4:00 a.m. talking, laughing, crying, and worshiping. Saturday, we spent the day in Birmingham and attended a worship night with my church (Oak City Church). It was truly amazing. If you don’t follow me on Instagram head over to my page and watch my Insta-story to get a little taste of how beautiful our night was. On Sunday morning, went to church and after we have our first shoot together – so exciting! I pray y’all have the most blessed Monday and week, ever. Oops… totally forgot to talk about my outfit. Okay, I am so obsessed with these BlankNYC bell bottoms from Golden Hanger. These bad boys are everything, like actually everything. Not to mention they are so comfortable and flattering. I will say, if you are petite you will need to get these jeans altered. (I should’ve taken my jeans to be altered, but ya girl didn’t.) This pair is great for a fun girls night or date night. If you live in the Tuscaloosa area, check out my favorite boutique, Golden Hanger. It’s located on University Boulevard and you can shop all there looks on their instagram @shopgoldenhanger (also in the link below) or on their website Shopgoldenhanger.com. You can check out their Spring arrivals on their Instagram page.

Velvet Fringe Kimono + Karen Walker Sunglasses

How is January almost over?! This month has flown by, and I feel like I haven't even blinked yet! I am so excited it's Saturday! It's officially the weekend and, I couldn't be more ready for it! I am not a very trendy girl at all. So naturally, I thought I was going to be the girl that never owned a Kimono. Boy was I wrong. I am so obsessed with the one I styled in today's post. Y'all know I love wearing all black. Personally, I think there is nothing better than a chic black on black ensemble. It's kind of like my uniform in the winter! How amazing is this look. It's so simple but so fun. I have on my black OTK boots from Public Desire and a plain black dress from Tobi. This Buddy Love Velvet Fringe Kimono added the perfect amount of sass to this outfit. It's just so delicate and fun. This Kimono works perfectly styled over a dress (shown in the pictures above) or a skirt. I have also styled it over black skinnies. This Kimono is a key piece for my winter wardrobe. Like, such a great investment piece.

Shift dress + Over The Knee Boots

Happy Thursday, friends!! I am always torn when it comes to dressing this time of year, in Alabama that is. At the moment I am fully enjoying this season. I am not the biggest fan of winter. But, currently Alabama’s experiencing more spring like weather than winter weather. I don’t know why, but for me it’s like I never really appreciate winter and all it’s beauty unless its snowing. Okay, on to today’s outfit post. Is this not the cutest little shift dress? I mean who doesn’t love a shift dress. This one is just so fabulous and versatile. I just love this flower pattern and it’s a great fall to winter transition dress. The dark primary colors in this dress are what make it prefect for my favorite season (fall) and my less favorite season (winter). You can wear this fun little number so many ways. I styled today’s post with my favorite taupe OTK Steve Madden Boots. This week went by so fast for me I am so excited tomorrow is Friday. My best friend is coming into town and I can’t wait!! How will y’all be spending your weekend? I would love to know your weekend plans, share in the comments below!
